March 2002: Projected opening date for a new store in Brooklyn at 333 Smith Street in Carroll Gardens. This beautiful brownstone community is a place about history, families, friends and community. Sure, it's close to Manhattan, but it's pure Brooklyn. The idea of opening a store there seemed to mirror our feelings about opening our first store nine years ago. Who knows maybe in the future we'll find a special friendly neighborhood that's just right for ZIPPER in London, Paris or Tokyo.

April 2002: Zipper opened at 333 Smith Street in historic Carroll Gardens.

March 2003: Zipper Los Angeles reaches a milestone celebrating its 10th Anniversary. A catalyst to the new Miracle Mile, Zipper at 8316 West Third Street leads the pack in the quest for cool gifts. This modernist general store features products designed exclusively for Zipper, gifts, art, furniture and design and architecture books.

March 2006: Closed Zipper Brooklyn and began expansion of Zippergifts.com. We thank all of our great customers in Carroll Gardens for their support during our four-year stay in their wonderful city. Join us as the website expands to bring even greater shopping opportunities right to your front door.

July 2007: Zipper opens in Sonoma, California at Cornerstone Place, 23572 Highway 121, at the gateway to wine country just 35 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Zipper is a new addition to the Cornerstone Place complex which includes architecturally designed gardens, a cafe, wine tasting rooms, and a select group of retail stores and galleries. A visit to Zipper Sonoma is a superb way to spend a memorable day visiting Northern California’s wine country.
